Fairy

FAIRY!

I wish I were a fairy,
So I could fly away.
From all who want to hurt me,
In every given way.

To hide away forever,
Where only some have been.
To play with other fairies,
And never to be seen.

Fairies are very precious,
So delicate and light.
When danger lurks nearby,
They all take off in flight.

But I am not a fairy,
So I cannot fly away.
Why on earth would I want to,
When I'm with you everyday.
