A - Getting the tickets

I have got the tickets now. ?200 each for weekend camping tickets. I
am boldly going into the unknown on this, I have no idea what to
expect, and I am excited by the prospect of sleeping in a tent for two
nights and watching loads of bands I have nver seen before, but only
heard on CD or the radio. And like I will be there. Just rung my niece
to say that the seller has emailed me. I can't use my credit card which
means I am in the hole for ?400 for the mo.
I am listening to the new Oasis album as I write this, but I know they
are not playing, but it doesn't matter, there are many bands there I
have only heard about and never seen live. Right now, I am thinking if
this all works, I will go to Glastonbury 2003.
I will have to do some more planning I think, make lists of stuff to
take and work out how the hell I am going to be able to pay for it
all.
In some ways, my life seems to be changing, I am doing things now I
would never have considered doing before. And I am enjoying it.
Although I also find it scarey at times. I think whenever we start
changing, either because we have to or because we realise we need to it
is always a scarey experience and everything that seemed so static
before seems to melt and fade away till I am left standing on a
darkling plain with my thoughts and my bag of dreams. The road ahead is
not very clear. There may be danger later on the road, but I have faith
in myself to win through.
