Creature of the Dark

I'm nocturnal
Invisible,secret,alert
creature of dreams
a shape
at the corner of the eye
a rustle under a hedgerow
The scent of honeysuckle
after dark
I'll skirt the pools of light
on the lawn
and be gone
an hour or so
before
dawn
