Stowmarket

I could sit here all day
in this greasy caf?
I never get down
in this beautiful town
I buy odd little things
in charity shops
like wooden photo frames
and second hand tops.
Then I go to the bookies
and have a little flutter
and back to the caf?
for fish and chips
with bread and butter.
Then go to the park
sit alone by the trees
with a nice gentle breeze
On days like this
I like being alone
away from my friends
my phone and my home.
It is important
to get people out of the way
to be all alone
and have a nice day.
