Each summer we would go,
Have our family portraits done,
To show how our family had grown.
There's a picture of you,
And a picture of me,
There's a picture of a small,
boy and a girl.
There's a picture of us,
Holding on to each other,
Each one holds,
Memories of gold.
But the picture I thought,
That i'd never see,
Was a picture,
Of you without me.
There's a new love,
Holding you,
Just the way I used to do,
And i'm not in the picture this year.
Your new love,
Holds you tight,
And somehow,
It don't seem right,
No i'm not in the picture this year.
There's a new man in your picture this year.
