The Rush Hour

People rushing home from work
Trying to catch a train or a bus
Faces looking tired after a hard day's work
But not wanting to make a fuss
There are short ones and tall ones
Some with shopping weighing tons
At last a bus comes along
And with the look on the faces in the crowd
They could burst into song
And suddenly there is more room on the ground.
