N. Autumn come she will

Autumn came to visit me today
she glanced at me
in the mirror,
as a walked by.

She never spoke
she just looked at me,
as the crow came to perch
on her cheeks.

I stepped back to take
another look at her,
wishing the crow would fly away
but I knew, she was me.

I held out my hands
trying to catch,
the falling leaves
from lifes tree.

But as I try to catch
the golden fall,
I shiver in the winter chill
