Backward Communication

Quarks live everywhere and nowhere
each in a little boat
floating in an invisible sea.
Some have Charm, yet others are Strange,
and since Quarks are unable to face each other...
they are all fine boomerang throwers.
Lovers communicate by messages
attached to their boomerangs
which they hurl forwards –
away from their beloved.
The boomerangs curve through space,
past their thrower’s lover's boat
The recipient catches the boomerang
reads the note then replies
and throws the boomerang back
An ironic consequence is
that the more two lovers drift apart...
the more strongly they are drawn together
by their communication.
Since the harder they throw
the more the boats are pushed backwards
( toward each other).
It is rumored that in the Subjective seas
the Quarks once used coloured boomerangs.
Attaching no messages –
throwing their boomerangs
to curve in a complete circle,
to simply fly past their lover's craft
and return.
Using Red ones to sign happy
and Blue ones to signify sad.
Quick Quarks could communicate so quickly
that... occasionally,
Red boomerangs looked Blue
due to Doppler shift.
Hence Quarks learned that reality is relative
and depends on the point of view of the observer
and the speed of their boomerang :o)
