Snow

I wish we could have snow
like icing sugar
crunching light and fluffy
underfoot
Shall I make a cake?
Footprint it myself
with little Christmas toys
wrap it round
with the still green trees
We should have
cold
and bright sparkle sun
fingers and toes
brave for a bit
of toboggan
