A permanent tattoo
Symbol of my anguish
Body branded-stained with blue

I curse and spit upon myself
Watching you walk away
Time now laughs with sheer delight
Hollow bone with letter "A"

Nothing beats beneath it
Let go sun and darkness fall
Only a tattoo to prove
That I exist at all.
