The sun withdrew into the arms of the moon.
Effortlessly,
seagulls painted stars of lilac clouds across the surface of the sea.
The wind gently called the rain to fall through an orange sky.
A slipstream from a drop of water collided with my window.
Smiling, I traced a rainbow of your reflection in an early evening dream.
Lights passed through the clouds as cafes were enudated with the scent of coffee brewed in empty 5 P.M. pots.
Thunder rolled as newspapers were folded and tightly held by moments that are never counted.
The flowers from courtyard gardens flew like dandelion whisps into the love of a spring storm.
Dishes clatttered.
Laughter rose and fell with echoes of conversations muffled by the rain.
Streetlights came on ;
their etheral light softly painting the asphalt that collided with the footfalls of tourists running to another language.
Windows were opened to catch the scent of angels as they flew through raindrops.
The rain,
it poured onto porches and and came alive in puddles splashed with reflections of light.
Cars raced by jumping the notes on a musical scale.
Birds ran home to five o'clock meals.
And kitchens were filled with the ebb and flow of a silver moon;.
rain falling through the coincidence of time
