THE STORY OF ME AND MY LIFE ENTRY THREE

12th Feb, 1999

Dear Abi,

Guess what?! My friend Marlin is coming over. I'm so excited. I think in light of what Mum calls The Cookie Incident, we should forget about it, and move on. I really thought she wouldn't let Marlin come over, following The Cookie Incident.But she is! Yippie!! Hannah wasn't pleaed that Mum thinks we should move on, I can tell. She really thought she'd landed me in boiling hot water. But after Mum and I had our little chat, she's agreed I can have my own supply of cookies in my room. Then that way, I won't get into trouble for eating any, will I? Anyway, thjat's all the news I have today, I really can't stay long, darling Abi, but I promise to tell you about Marlin next time we catch up.

"Ali! Mervin's here!"

Bloody cheek of it! She could at least remember my best friend's name.
