Possession is where ghostly boundaries waver
become permeable
membranes between this and the afterlife
between you and me
quantum physics ,something atomic

It isn't fashionable to want it
naked souls with hands that go beneath the skin
where sideways glances or musical laughs
write in permanent ink

I do want it
I'm all wolf and wolverine
Carmen singing about love rolling cigars
cat fighting pub girls or cowgirls with whips
sashaying and snarling roasting rivals
withering allcomers

I manage generosity mostly
how lovely for you darling have a nice time
but I pick petals off roses
and violets
and lilies
and grind them into dust
