Flaked, muddy window.
Aerial wired rooftops.
That I cannot afford,
to frame anymore.
Lightning phrases the sky,
thunder applauses.
Spotlighting me back,
an era of smiles.
Outside in the hall,
I evaluate the stairs.
To sit half way with myself,
wishing for the stars.
Swapping sunshine for rain.
