dearest love i hope this message
finds you well
as these endless fight, continue to rage on
every single word secretly
shoots a photograph of when we melt into one

i hope you will remember me
even after the day i dissappear
may the wind bring you comfort
may the songs of trees give you hope
for you'll need it when i'm gone

i'm missing for i'm far away
there's no pretty landscapes here for me to marvel
there's no roses for me to pick
all i have is your picture
and this determination to write
