He carved a face for himself through milenia
by looking at others,
and,
he became everyone,
other than himself.
He copied instead of distinguishing,
and every being's footprint was laid,
one upon the next,
creating layers,
under which,
he
was
buried.
He hated them for trespassing,
over private land,
but conveniently forgot
that invites were sent
and that masks of fear must peel away
in order to see what was always there.
