I'm sorry that I broke
Your favourite oven dish
Especially in light
Of the anecdote you had just recounted
About the salmon dinner.
I am also sorry
For the Chinese bowl
Now splintered stuck
With guilty fingers
You say it is a favourite.
Please understand:
My arms are unwieldy spatulas,
My legs wayward ladles
I will only inhabit my body
On special occasions.

Cool! Very much of the Kenneth Koch variations on the William Carlos Williams poem:
Sorry I ate
the plums
that were in
the icebox
and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast.
Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold.
I like the first stanza loads. And, in that light, the second stanza seems a bit of a poor man's first stanza.
In fact, I would probably cut the spatula/ladle imagery too. Not coz it isn't good but because I'd like the tone to be kept nice and dry.

(YOU WRITE SOMETHING GREAT HERE
AND HERE)
I will only inhabit my body
On special occasions.
This is only my opinion.
This is aces.
