Christian Poetry

This is a collection of poems, which are inspired by my Christian faith.

I am a believer and have been for a long time. At some point I had the inspiration to write many Christian poem. Even now, most poetry I write is Christian and based on my faith and experiences in/with my faith.

I hope you will enjoy reading them. And I pray that they will inspire seekers to keep on seeking, and believers to continue in their faith with renewed hope.

God bless you and keep you

Do you love me?

I stand in the shadow In the comforting grey Don't want to come out Don't want to show the real me Someone steps into my shadow You are one of his! I say, I don't know him Do you love me?

A Simple Task

About thresholds and how to overcome them (Inspired by Proverbs 29:23 and Matthew 11:28-30).

An Outcry for Rescue

Observations through time and a prayer like Daniel's prayer for his people (Daniel 9:3-20)

Calvary Impressions

Questions about Jesus' death on the cross, I have so often asked. I still do not understand what exactly happened there on that cross. But I know I was saved by it.

Meaningful

God does not need us He is perfect...Tri-une God...Father God...Son God...Spirit Perfect communication Perfect relationship Perfect love God...Creator of the universe

From a Distance

God waits for us, even when we turn our backs on him, He waits for us to come back. And when we do, his arms are open to us (Luke 15:11-32).

Forgiveness

Based on a true story, this poem tells about forgiveness, real forgiveness.

Peace

A dream of peace

God is love
