Thinking Of Things.
By Brian Kelly.
Do you ever think beyond everyday things?
I mean think in depth,-----of serious things!
Do you have emotions?
Deep sleep busting, heart tearing, scarry, emotions.
Have you been brought to utter despair
By life which seemed so very unfair?
"Why me? Why should it happen to us?"
When all that you strived for goes away thus,
The mortgage nonpayments being called in,
or motor car crash, now it's only old tin.
Redundancy notice, life's work over now.
The death of your loved one, no matter how.
Diagnosis of illness, suspected for years
Now opens the gates for floods of hot tears.
All I can tell you, in solace my friend
if it is any comfort, and grief it can end
We have all had some sorrow of personal sorts
And prayers for strangers are in many thoughts.
So just pick yourself up, against you there is no plot
And have this last thought. ‘I’ts just part of life’s lot’
Finally, if lifes ambitions have not been your privilege
This is my friend, no better, no worst than the average.
