I’ll not wear Jenny’s purple
- save in my head
and attitudes,
nor will I rage like Dylan;
for that is futile,
and in any case,
his words will
glow long after
my light has died.
But I’ll remember
every kiss and
word of love
ever heard or uttered
and memory’s elixir
will keep me young.

aye...tis some of why it is important to make good memories - is Dylan behaving badly? that would be disappointing - nice sentiment here, memories of love and kisses do indeed help in the mix, of feeling young at heart and mind. You're wearing the purple in this poem - jenny's poem is too long -this is short and sweet.
