House of Dreams

- 1053 reads
The house is silent, settled for the night
our hearts beat quietly, time travels slow.
As dreams cascade through halls of purest light;
strange new life bathed in a beautiful sight
surreal imaginings of sleep life flow.
The house is silent settled for the night,
senses heighten in this strange exciting flight
where all events appear to shrink then grow;
As dreams cascade through halls of purest light.
Silk like, inside the shells of oysters white
Cocooned and sheltered as the pearl from snow.
The house is silent settled for the night.
Quite unexpectedly we take a fright
and nightmares run through for a beat or so,
then dreams cascade through halls of purest light;
once again visions turn into delight,
calm all fears before the dawn’s trumpets blow.
The house is silent, settled for the night
As dreams cascade through halls of purest light.
