A Christmas carol that joyous sings
Of shepherds and angels and three wise kings.
A Christmas song that joyful tells
Of holly green and silver bells.
A Christmas film replayed each year
Its magic unsullied, it can yet raise a tear.
A Christmas story of spirits three
Of hope and redemption, of how man should be.
A Christmas tree arrayed in its best
Installing the lights a traditional test.
A Christmas crib with its stable scene
The ox appears hungry, the babe looks serene.
A Christmas shop stocked full of delights
Tinsel and baubles and bright twinkling lights.
A Christmas dinner with those held dear
Overcooked Brussels are something to fear.
A Christmas card from the heart is sent
The words inside sincerely meant.
A Christmas present received with love
Whatever it is, it will fit like a glove.
A Christmas poem penned with care
With thoughts and feelings pleasant to share.
A Christmas message for you to hear
It says…. "Merry Christmas and the Happiest New Year!"
