"What did the freak want?

Probably just another false lead."

Asked Moretti

"No, this one really seems credible. More than any other has."
Insisted John as he handed Moretti the handwritten notes that he had written.

"You really believe this crap?
This sounds like something from a horror movie.

I bet you can find out what film it's from online. Don't these people realize how busy we are?"

"Nevertheless, sir. I would like to look into it."

"In the past nine months since the killings began, we have gotten more than 300 false leads. We don't have time to investigate every one.

Now get back to work!"
Shouted an angry moretti

"Sir. I truly do believe that this girl is telling the truth.

She had cuts, bruises and scars on her body. I don't think she did them to herself."

"All right. Since you feel so strongly about this, why don't you bring in the girl and let me talk to her? I'll be able to tell if she is truthful within only a few moments of speaking to her."
Said Moretti

"I'm afraid I can't do that, sir. She didn't leave a name or address."
Said John

"What? You let her just walk away? That was very unprofessional of you, officer Siena."
Shouted an angry Moretti

"You just said that you thought I was wasting my time with this girl. That it was just another false lead. Why are you now so upset?"

"How dare you question me. Just because you come from the NYPD does not give you the right to speak to me that way.

Now either find that girl or you are off this case!"

He then walked away leaving John confused.

How was he supposed to find the girl?

Elena explained everything to Mariya, everything except how she really knew Antanas. She told her that they were friends in school.

"You're telling me that my husband doesn't remember his own family?"
Asked Mariya

"I'm afraid not, Mrs. Alekseev."
Answered Elena

"So much of this story isn't adding up.

Tell me again why you didn't call an ambulance when the accident first happened."

"I told you, I did call an ambulance, but they said it would be a while before they could get through. I am a nurse, and decided to take him back to my place, and wait for the ambulance to arrive. Before I hung up I told them my address. They actually suggested that I take him home, and get him out of the approaching storm."
Lied Elena.

She didn't call the ambulance until after she took Antanas home.

"Why would they tell you to move him when he clearly had a head, and possible neck injury? That doesn't make sense. And you being an R. N. should have known better than to move him. You should have just waited for the ambulance, and maybe this would never have happened."
Shouted a teary eyed Mariya

"I realized that my actions may not have been perfect, but if it weren't for me, Antanas would be dead. I was told that by three different doctors and two nurses. You should be thanking me, not accusing me of trying to hurt him."

"Just let me speak to the doctor again, please."

Elena handed the phone to the doctor, and Mariya began speaking with him.

The doctors wheeled Maya into another room, where they were going to examine her.

This left Rayna and Caelia alone together.

"I'm really glad that Maya is doing better."
Said Caelia, trying to break the awkward silence

"She's a strong girl."
Replied Rayna

Caelia was sitting at the edge of the bed while Rayna looked out the window at an elderly woman being wheeled into a vehicle.

"So... How long are we going to pretend nothing happened?"
Asked Caelia

"I already told you I was sorry about before. I'm not a violent person. I don't know what came over me. It won't happen again."
Said Rayna, who was clearly getting agitated.

"Not that. In the restroom earlier, I saw your arms. They were full of cuts and bruises. Where did they come from?"

"I tripped and fell."

"Stop lying to me! I'm not stupid."

"What else do you want me to say, Caelia? I haven't known you that long, and I don't feel that it is any of your business. You're my sister's friend, not mine. Don't get us confused."

"You're going to wish you hadn't have said that after I tell your mother."

"Oh, grow up, Caelia! Stop acting like a child!"

"Well, what else am I going to do, Rayna? I can't keep the fact that you purposely hurt yourself a secret."

"Do you really want to tell my mother now, after all she's gone through in the last few days?"
Asked Rayna

"I will if I have to."
Said Caelia

Just then, Mariya walked into the room to tell them about their father, when Caelia said,
"I have something I need to talk to you about, Mrs. Alekseev."
