The last day

It is a semi gray morning, wispy cirrus clouds are shielding most of the sunlight. It is still a warm day though, just slightly greyer than ususal. Winter is on its way out.I can feel myself once again yearn for the smell of rain. A smell so sweet that you can taste it.
This is my legacy.
Do not let one single incident in your life dictate what you do with the rest of your days.
Fail as ungraciously as you can and wallow if you must but give it enough time to learn the lesson that you have to and then rise up once again, like the a phoenix from the ashes of your regrets.
Set yourself short term and long term goals, for the achievement of inner strength and peace and for the experience of the versatility of this life.
There are things that will break you, try your best not to be broken.
You walk this path alone, but never forget that you make it too.
Learn to be at peace within yourself.
Know that you have much to offer the world, even if it is just the sight of your smile or the tough of your hand, you can never know when such a gesture could save another life.
Everything passes, even the worst of your hearbreaks. Mend the lines that strech across the wounds that divide and salt them to heal. Forgiveness frees you from the burdens that rage invites.
Learn a littlee resolve.
Be brave.
Leave a legacy.
Today is my last day on this earth for letting the fear that used to grip me rule my life.
