wasted time

I still see their silhouettes among the shadows in my mind. Faces I once desired with names I never learned but still remember.
Their faces sometimes haunt me, at other times relent, now was never then and emptiness can come in many flavours.
Once upon a time I might have fallen from your graces, don't judge too quick for my eyes were wild with new potential. I expected nothing from them then and received it in abundance, the fool will learn what the wise will not need teaching.
Now teach me with all your wisdom and take me while Im asking, I have no need for needs, they only serve to seed and make all my dreams dreams of what Im lacking.
Teach me wisdom and teach me dreams of living without faulting, show me a thing I have that still remains unbroken.
Don't take these questions as an attack don't take them as nostalgia, the future holds my gaze but the images remain, with that a certain pain,
I might have spent my freedom on those I am now free of.
