In the light of the night, I am filled to the brim with fright.
I smell death in the air and will faint if I dare
take one more step.
Even though it’s dark all around and hard to be found, there’s a looming shadow in my sight.
I feel my heart beat and the pitter-patter of tiny feet.
My teeth begin to chatter, but nothing really matters because
In the light of the night, while walking down the road, I trip over a bony corpse, centuries old.
These terrifying sights that I encounter in the light of the night are nothing compared to my fight to stay quite alright as my throat becomes tight from the poison of your bite.
