A day after celebration of the sixty fifth Independence day
India was rocked by a news of arrest of Anna Hazare,
Anna Hazare was once a soldier, now known for his fight against the menace of corruption bizzare,
This has become news across the globe,
I am only putting this forth, the problem for everybody to solve.
As an Indian I am free and frank in my illustration,
To tell the truth to my brothers all over the world to share our emotion and concern.
Further this is not a problem limited to we Indians,
Like cancer, you know or not, it has gone into all nations.
If it is not so for you and you still feel proud,
How a man in your country lives with plenty another cries for food.
Corruption is rampant everywhere,
Somewhere less and somewhere more.
It is caused by man’s attachment to greed,
From corruption poverty, exploitation and falsehood are the breed.
Greed for power, passion of attachment,
Nourishes corruption to meet their selfish intent.
Human values are forgotten,
The result is poverty for poor, hunger for million.
And all plans will be obviously a failure.
With unaccounted black money, economy of a country has to be instable and in secure.
Let us put our head and heart together for poor man’s survival,
We must evolve a procedure to wipe out the corrupt cannibal.
If your brother is killed and society is in shatter,
It is sure the greedy one has also to perish; the wealth in bank will hardly matter.
In India the cry for its eradication has taken a forceful turn,
When Anna Hazare a votary of Lokpal bill was put in a prison.
His proposal of a public court to try and punish a corrupt by a supreme judge called Lokpal,
The proposal has been filibustered, delayed and truncated with many changes to suit the corrupt leaders political
To buy time to push the black money further into an unknown tunnel, Anna Hazare had to be put in the jail,
Lest he may add to the fire, his charisma being the fuel.
The law and order of the country will be jeopardized,
This is the allegations against him for arrest as publicized.
Experts on law find their own logic,
To suit their masters, to whom for their selfish motive, they like.
A lie gives birth to many a lie,
Greed, attachments breed corruption and force the truth to die.
Rules and laws have many commas, full stop and semicolons,
Written documents can alone not be able to speak the truth and plead for ethical conclusions.
Man has to purify his inner half,
One should not tell a lie on his own behalf.
India is rocking for Anna Hazare- a true soldier
Huge sum of money in the hands of a few will get hidden during this time period further.
Anna Hazare may be wrong in his procedure and proposals,
But it is sure we must join hands to end the kingdom of these criminals.
Innocent Poors cannot understand, the implication fully,
They pathetically look for their bare need food, water and shelter only.
A common man in India does not know why a prime minister?
For a judge and Lokpal with their jurisdiction, they don’t have time to bother.
When a president cannot undo and a judge and a Prime Minister cannot in undo,
Can a Lokpal selected by them and from among them can bid corruption adieu?
From Heaven you take charge of Lokpal, oh God,
Or take another incarnation to end this manmade episode.
