The coffin of Alexander the great was carried by his generals accompanied by many a soldier,
His empty hands were hanging out of the coffin as per his last desire told with tear
His hands were empty and waving to the crowd,,
Look here I came to earth with empty hands and going with empty hand even without a sword..
He was a mighty conqueror and once all the materials of the world were his own,
He could not carry a penny that his empty hand had shown.
His dead body might be reminding the generals of the incident,
When caught and interrogated, the thief accused Alexander as a greatest thief and prayed for his punishment.
Egyptians were standing to see the coffin of a great victor,
Some with hatred and some with fear.,
Some must be thinking of bloodshed and killings as the sequel to battles,
The cries of pathos and agony must be ringing in them with sufferers’ tales.
If Alexander could not carry so will be you and I,
