A World Needing Grace
Our world is a fallen place,
A lost sphere,
Orbiting in space.
An incredible surface
Always in change
Harassed by mans’ rat race.
Nature, awesome to taste,
Ravaged by humans
Turning beauty to waste.
She revolves at her pace
She’s travelled millennia
And man’s focus: Now! The chase.
As the earth has no haste,
Man pillages and destroys her
Never considering: In case…
The earth, as fragile as a crystal vase,
As powerful as molten lava,
She holds man – the disgrace.
Earth, a beautiful place,
Holding man and his waste,
Increasingly needing: God’s Grace.
