There is a darkness in your eyes
which belies your grace
a solitutde in your fingertips
which chills the
grateful recipient
There is a coarseness to your languor
and sometimes
a certain slant within you words
which coils around my throat
like a serpent without a face
Your shadow reaches
far beyond
your purview
until I am forced to believe
that you are all of the night
And whilst I see
evidence
of your verisimilitude
and your vines entwine
so comprehensively
No matter how much
and how often
I love you
You terrify me

I loved this part: "until I am forced to believe
that you are all of the night"
