A Ghastly Round Robin (IP)

A Merry Christmas to you all!
I hope this letter finds you well. My apologies for doing another of these ghastly 'round robin' letters, but I haven't had a chance to see any of you at all this year. I do hope to remedy this in the new year but don't hold out too much hope! You all know what I'm like.
You know I don't get to see my special daughter Rose nearly as much as I would like to but I am lucky enough to have fortnightly visiting rights, albeit supervised. We take what we can get though right? She is doing brilliantly, of course. She seems to take after her mother thankfully! Apparently she did struggle slightly when I first went away but she used the motivation to get stronger. Good girl, that one. She seems to get on well with her mother's 'life partner' as well. Amanda does sound pleasant, at least. Have any of you met her? Took some getting used to I can tell you. Better than another bloke though, I guess.
Our decorations have gone up, though they are the same as last year. They're a bit, well, sparse. Seen better days, they have. Still, makes everything a bit more festive. The fake Christmas Tree was melted in a few places and I must say on some days I don't envy the fairy!
Despite the anorexic tinsel it doesn't really seem very Christmassy for me. It's just the same routine day after day. Jim (remember Jim? From my letter last year?) has been getting a bit too familiar of late. He says he just misses his girlfriend. He should be moving out soon anyway. Good job, that. I don't think I have ever missed anyone as much as he seems to.
I've been working out a lot, making sure I get three square meals a day. you wouldn't recognise me, you really wouldn't. I'm taking a painting and decorating course as well. I'm no Michelangelo (or any of the other turtles, teehee) but I've been told I show a lot of promise. I seem to have a knack for wall papering. Dull, I know, but at least it keeps me busy.
Anyhoo, I'd love to see some of you next year, if you get a chance. In case you lost it, my address is at the bottom.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Graham.
