I’d never seen the light on the Thames from here
The trains they rattle and inside rattles fear
The others stare through binoculars but you’re all I see
Honey just keep holding on to me
A pair of peregrines in the pylons high above
Wheeling and hunting like love
A tattered red heart caught in a tree
Honey just keep holding on to me
Holding, holding on…
Holding, holding on…
This song it isn’t meant to set us free
So honey just keep holding on to me
The herons and the egrets in the marsh
The cold November wind it blows so harsh
You forced me to get down upon one knee
Honey just keep holding on to me
