Pity on my humor
P K Routray
Have I ever written a humorous poetry?
to give a hilarious smile and joy to somebody.
I tried to reflect and recollect but it was in vain,
Someone inside me gave a guide line and ordain,
“This poetry must give smile to a starving person,
the poem should be able to wipe the rears of crying one,
And it should not be at the cost of any one,
Satires, jokes and humor have different guide line and caption.
You have no right to laugh at others IQ,
After all we are all foolish and somebody may also laugh at you.
Humor should be not to bring a tear to an eye,
but to give somebody smile and joy thereby.”
I searched and searched but failed to find any of my poems within the specification,
I laughed at my helplessness for my failure to catch readers’ proud attention.
Can I be able to write it in future?
Or should I cite some live examples of my life for the humor?
But somebody watching me from outside should interpret,
as my acts might be idiotic but I have thought myself to be perfect.
The specification is very stringent; hence I have to violate,
Can my reader friend guide me and take pity to suggest?
