Enya Can Bring About World Peace?

I could listen to the eldritch voice of Enya all day: the Celtic harmonies of a harp, the soothing and caramel tones of the Irish siren, the elegiac strains of an electronic hurdy-gurdy. It doesn’t matter what she is saying; she could be reading the script of a German military Scheiβe video and it would sound soothing enough to be played at a classy spa where they play it as often as a child molester employs lollipops spiked with Xanax. The Gaelic goddess’ voice can relax even the most uptight to the point of loss of bowel control. I often wonder: if you play her songs backwards, would it have the opposite effect, driving the listener to commit heinous atrocities? If they played Enya’s ballads in areas of strife and bloody conflict, would it calm and soothe the anger of the dispossessed and disenfranchised like a balm redolent of a mother’s gentle kiss? Could Enya bring about world peace? Or could it backfire and push hostilities to a sanguinary shitstorm?
