An embarrassment
P K Routray
The sun doth blush,
painted with His red colored brush
when at dawn
the cover of darkness has gone
after a gap of twelve hours
the sun comes and scours
the dirt of night
caused by the nefarious delight
under the cover of darkness
causing many earthly activities, heinous.
The sun feels perhaps ashamed
to reveal our acts to get us defamed.
Or does the sun blush?
by the pearls’ plush
woven by the green grass
welcoming the sun to pass
but man on the bed
with the sun’s light gets raged.
The melody of birds with rising sun
the chanting of animals at the dawn
the cool breeze at the morn,
may be too embarrassing a welcome for the sun.
