3 blokes in a room

if you can laugh,
if you can laugh in spite
of everything this
accidental &
catastrophic life
throws at you,
then you can make it from
a to b,
without putting a shotgun in
your mouth &
spraying your brains all over
the wall behind you &
for some,
these 3 blokes in a room
keep our stomachs in pain,
a pleasurable pain,
one that is created from
endless conversations which
ask nothing of us
but produce
guffaw after
guffaw,
continuously.

tipping the hat that
this writer doesn’t wear,
to the likes of Ricky, Stephen &
Karl,
who keep driving into the absurd,
letting us all listen in
on what can only be a room
that any fly with a sense of humor
would love to be on the wall of.
