The Tremolo effect You can create a cool tremolo whistle; merely by letting your right arm and hand tremble while you are whistling. This is by far the best way to create a tremolo whistle because, merely by controlling your arm you can control the level of the tremolo effect. Making two mouth sounds simultaneously It’s possible to make loud rhythmic sounds of various kinds with the back of your throat while whistling as a percussive accompaniment to whistling.

Palm and circle percussion method –

 

a)This is a method of making a percussive sound by, first, touching the thumb of your right hand with your right index, middle and ring finger so that your right hand forms a circle (as if it was encircling a cylindrical object) and then rubbing the underside of that circle(as well as the palm of your right hand) rhythmically against the palm of your left hand. What you get is a soft scraping sound that almost sounds whistle like.  b) Another percussive sound you can make with the circle is, if you bend the fingers of your left hand up while your rubbing with the circle and knock it into them.

The Switchblade Click Ever wanted to make your finger pop-up like a switchblade? It’s very simple. All you have to do is bend your index finger and rest it on top of your thumb. Now click, as you normally would, your middle finger and your thumb. If you do it correctly, then your index finger should pop up when you click your middle finger. The pinch snap Pinch any finger (or thumb or even three fingers) of your right hand between the thumb and index finger of your left hand and then pull your finger quickly out of the pinch and it should make a snapping sound. Secret Reflex Trick – If someone is holding on to an object, strike the back of their knuckles (the ones on the back of their hand not their finger knuckles) and it will cause them to open their fingers, like a kneejerk reflex, and drop the object. Secret Hand signal trick – Write a message on your hand and show it to someone whilst making a weird hand signal. People will think that you know sign language. (This kind of misdirection can be used to cover up secret codes as well)  

 

Box Illusion:   1.      

Drape a towel or some kind of sheet over your hands.

 

2.      

Now point your thumbs upwards and extend your index fingers outwards.

 

3.      

It should look like you are holding a box underneath the towel/ sheet (Your two thumbs are its two upper back corners and your fingertips, its two upper front corners).                                                                             

 

4.      

A bit of acting is all it should now take to convince people that you have a solid object under the towel and you can even pretend to make it disappear.

Just write I, T, S and A on four separate squares of paper or cards. Then, placing them in front of someone like this

ask them to choose between the three letters  “T”, “S” or “A” and explain that  “I”, pointing to the card with the letter I on it "will predict the letter you pick".

 

If they pick an A, put all the cards in this order  ITS A  and say “It’s A”

 

If they pick S, put the cards in this order IT  A  S  and ask “Was it a S?”

 

 

 

If they pick T, put the cards in this order IS  A  T and say “It is a T”.                                       

Code (Cryptographic) Fusion of literature with other art forms – Code allows you to totally fuse words with other art forms. For example; if you were to attribute a letter to every musical note then you could encode a poem in music and create a piece of music that a listener could appreciate on two levels; both as a piece of music and as a poem. If you were to attribute a letter to every colour and shape you could make paintings or clothing patterns or pottery designs that could be appreciated both as visual art but which also contain encoded poems or stories and, if you were to attribute a letter to different movements, you could even perform dances that could be appreciated not just as dances but as poems or stories.

Also: Hog Martian –

1. Hog Martian is a verbal code like Pig Latin but one that, I think, would be, unlike pig latin, an effective verbal code and also a fun code.
2. Firstly you say a one or two syllable gibberish word, then the first half of a real word then a second one or two syllable gibberish word then the second half of a real word.
3. For example,Blook Mee Zaplok ting= Meeting
4. You can make up any gibberish words that you wish.
5. Further examples=

Flobba se zabbo cret  malma rendez bloobloo vouz = secret rendezvous

Gumba we noo must blug leave dabbo now = We must leave now

6. Speakers of Hog martian have to be careful to leave a pause between the gibberish word and the real word so that the person they are speaking to can tell them apart.
