A Jewel.

The room that I sleep in is small. There's just enough floor space for me to turn around in. The chair against the wall moonlights as a bed. It fits me like a grave. But although I sleep alone, my dreams are rich with future friends.
At the weekend I like to shuffle my cd collection. It's the only sort of change I can cope with these days. In the corner is a plant. Its green leaves impart a sense of growing calm. I look after it as best I can. It was a gift.
Below the curtained window squats a wooden chest of drawers. The top drawer is the home to pants and socks. The pants are black, the socks are grey. But safely tucked between the cotton rows, there lies a jewel. A beautiful red brasiere.
