The yellow desert scorpion
survives when sand whirls, whips;
electo-microscopy has shown
fine detail that equips
and halves the rate of sand-erosion
(checked out by computer simulation)
– its coat has microscopic texture
– this patterned bumpy surface structure
they try to imitate on blades
of helicopter rotors,
to lengthen desert working lifespan
but can't achieve such super grades
of microscopic fine design.

HI Rhiannon
Again, interesting scientific information within your poem. I really enjoyed reading it and learning from it too.
