Noble Quest

I'm on a noble quest
That some may see as odd,
To live a life inspired
Soully through my God.

Sadly, I was misinformed
Those decades long ago,
When I signed my life away
To trust through high and low.

I've come too far in the journey
To think of stopping now,
As all who were with me
Have long since made their bow.

Others who joined in late
Have yet to realise,
It's not a fly by night thing
This having God as your guide.

So the travelling can be lonely,
The flesh weak and Spirit strong,
But I won't be giving up, I know,
Cause with His Love, I belong.
