what is a pure, unadulterated thought? is it a pure word come from the unconscious, unhampered, no censor? an intuition shot straight to the head, no speed limit. is it pure wish fulfillment, unencumbered? is a pure thought within space or time? is it a revelation? suddenly, you know that your husband is cheating on you with so and so who is your best friend. how long did the pure thought take to get to be a word, knowledge? it occurs to you that the guy you've had a crush on is gay and he's been trying to tell you all this time. time itself is constantly translated into being, consciousness. what is a pure thought. while driving through the highway, i have a few pure thoughts, and it occurs to me that certain people were just killed. did people just die in another part of the world? the more and more i think about pure thought, the more i think it is an intuition twice observed, known. Tinkerbell is able to have a pure thought and children do have pure thoughts but it is undoubtedly something like "daddy will buy me legos" or something to that effect. when our emotional baggage has resolved itself into a dew, then we feel pure thoughts, glamourous entities of the sky, shot up the elevator of time, to know for a while the terrible beauty of angels.
