Self Claim
P K Routray
Life, seven million
wonderful is His creation.
Vary they in size, shape and structure,
in dimension diverge they from mega to miniature.
Live they over earth, under soil, in ether and water,
in inner traits, character and nature they differ.
They all smell, see, hear, feel and taste,
rest, communicate, protect, perish and procreate.
Built are they all with soil, fire, space, air and water
But man boasts he is the unique creation and the master.
Best among these creation, the man always says “I”
but in man’s pride, only negative logic we see.
Enslave, imprison or kill anyone in His creation, man can
with higher power of intellect and memory of his clan.
The logic is based on baneful utilization of God’s gift
perhaps given to man to serve His creation with it.
Basic four necessities, need all to sustain and survive
to eat, to sleep, to protect and to procreate to keep their clan alive.
Comparing man with other on this level ground
man is the worst among all as it is found.
The man is guided by his lust and greed
whereas others stay well within their need.
Best and worst are both superlative terms,
Here the worst is negative, beyond divine norms.
