Within the Mirrors

We've slept beneath the evanescent skies
our dreams, like drops of blood, upon the horizon
intoxicated, we'll tout our stubborn derisions;
Against a God who invoked these divisions.
I will allways want to come back
where the sun never sets on a sky so black
where the happy stopwatch wives
sip their tea, & smile by design.
waltzing around twilight, gleefully, around
plasticine trees of ever-green.
I remember when the moon came down from above
When all the clocks reversed their motions
there were no mirrors to see our sad reflections
only a strange phantasm could recognize
the secret writings on the walls of paradise.
I am the queen's artistan
crowned, in shined light, the girl who has a vision
that all the paths were leading back to the one
that existed before the sun
as the wind disperses snowflakes
and a million rainbows fall away
I dream of salient sparks
of ballerinas in the dark.
She cries at the wilting flowers in her prison
disillusioned that she can't be here again,
she's only a new invention,
everything was created in the company of the strange
masterful to be wrought out of clay
and molded by the flames again.
I'd dream of holding up the skies
hidden behind purple mountains
wandering off the tops of skylines
I am the paint in his soul's vestige
azure tears upon the land.
stubborn fate, chains of ruby red
& she wonders if they still beleive
In the depths of silence or the voices in their heads
they watched her bright world break apart
and they watched her bright world turn,
Like these words and all the rest,
She watched her bright world burn,
like all the rest we learned
how the stars were our hearts.
each spark like a ballerina, dancing in the dark.

Some really stand out words,
Some really stand out words, lines, phrases and imagery in this wonderful poem that almost conjures an epic feel on the initial read. Very good indeed and congratulations on the cherry award, it's very much deserved.
