"I'm off!" said Right.
"But wait!" said Left.
"What?" said Right.
"I'm nothing without you," said Left.
"Don't be silly," said Right, and she disappeared.
Left looked left and Left looked right. He sighed. He folded himself down one line of symmetry, then across another. "No," he said. He cut himself in half. He put one piece to the left and one to the right. "Hmm," he said.
"I'm back!" said Right, who was, but when she saw the two halves of Left, she frowned.
"Can't I leave you alone for two minutes?" said Right.
"Erm," said Left.
"What is it?" said Right.
"I am undecided," said Left.
"I'm not surprised," said Right. "Now pull yourself together!"
Left did so, but from that moment on, he knew that he would never feel whole again.

More please. Left could play for the World Cup. He cuts out a third part and becomes a Centre Forward.
