Ode Poem

Oh Tay, 

As I look at you I dream of happiness. I dream of you opening the car door every time. I dream of you taking me on nice dates. My dream of us having kids together would be amazing. My dream of us going down town every weekend. Would you like that? Us exploring great things on the every day basis. Both of us having the best communication ever. Both of us being able to work out our problems together. 

Oh Tay,

I notice how you have that serious look on your face. Makes me wonder what you're thinking. You favor your dad a lot, I see him in you. Not just by your looks but, how you carry your self. I see you as a preacher. I picture me and you as pastor and Lady Cody. I picture us preaching and taking over their legacy. I see us having two beautiful girls like Joi and Destiny. I picture you having your Pest control business and me being a Journalist/Poet. We can be successful together. Yes, our names will be known. 

Oh Tay, 

As we go down this journey we have to make sure that we have faith in God. God has to be apart of our relationship everyday. We have to pray everyday when the enemy tries to break us apart. We have to read the bible and study his word. 

Oh Tay,

As I'm writing this poem that's not real, I pray this poem will become reality. I pray that one day this will be me and you. This is just a dream to me but, it sounds so real. 

Oh Tay, 

Just one more thing. When ever we get together, I pray that we get married. One day when are old and wrinkly, we will laugh at this poem and say ¨We made it this far all because of our faith in God. We made it because we prayed our way through this long journey¨
