Sheeps Torr

Climbing the rock
I saw tendrils flowing
outward and below,
verdant capillaries saturating
the thin soils
that coat the torr,
they waved
in a hallucinatory pulse;
so many arms of Shakti.
The rock is a head
of some monolithic beast
and when it exhales
birds climb delightedly
on the updrafts.
