Mistakes

The fire burns bright

as my days pass by

I stand in the corner

trying to find truth in my lie

What caters to my sole purpose

is something I did not achieve

my life scatters away

as I prepare to leave

What mistakes I've done

Only God knows

I'm trying to change my path

but it's not even close

Beautiful a day

not for me it seems

darker the night

same as my dreams

I look to be alone

finding not my place

I fight a million reasons

to rest my case

Believe in me
