Rooted in dry earth
Up above
Fragments of hymns
Drift in skirlin’ wind
Cock crows
Quiet as Sunday
Faith in ghostly bones
through the misty town
Resurrectionists visit you-
You come no mair
Lost in a twisty stair
A sacrament to science.
