A View Of Boracay
By Paul McCann
The Jetty boats and tricycles that bring people to and fro
from the airport to the market place or where they need to go
are all a way of life here for the locals in Boracay
but for visitors like me , its looks romantic in a way ,
buying fresh fish from fishermen
to have cooked across the street
in an open air restaurant where you can have a private seat
in an air con upstairs room where the whole world can disappear
and no seems to ask you ,
what are you doing over here .
On Paradise street they’re building homes
In every vacant spot ,
Where there’s T-Shirts in every window and nothing costs a lot
You get this kind of feeling here that’s everything is ok
Everyone seems so relaxed here in beautiful Boracay .
