Though art everything
P K Routray
Ego is the barricade
creating in between man and the God a blockade.
Out of ego man thinks he is the master doer
as he has eyes to see and ear to hear,
toungue to taste and nose to smell
can discriminate sweetness of heaven and bitterness of hell.
He has hands to hold, legs to walk,
heads to think, mind to muse and lips to talk.
But forgets he, somebody gives him the life force to perform
without it eyes, ears, tongues and nose have no power of any form.
Hence let us submit with humility to say,
both loudly and silently day in day out pray
“Hey God! I am nothing
Though art everything.”
rob me of my pride
to your service all my desires, shape and guide.”
